S.K.I.P. makes no apologies for his beliefs. No bling bling, bitches or blunts here. His mission is to create a base for open-mindedness and ‘mental freedom’. He covers controversial topics that are political, spiritual, and lack the hedonism of many rappers in the game today. He speaks about love, peace, humility, individuality, and the power of the people over the hand of oppression.

Since the seventh grade, he has been writing songs almost every day. His love for music grew throughout his youth as he learned to play guitar in ska and garage bands Ultimately his true passion has always been the spoken and written word. His discovery of hip-hop gave him the creative outlet he had been searching for,and has been with him with every breath since. In early 2004, he began working in the studio regularly with Swamburger (Sol.illoquists of Sound). Seven albums later, they still haven’t stopped. S.K.I.P. records regularly with Central Florida’s finest musicians, and he co-produces and plays instruments on most of his own tracks. “I’m proud to be strictly independent - signed to an independent label, and am proud that I make and sell my music independentlly…”
